How often should I change the air filter on my furnace

The frequency of filter replacement depends on your situation. A lot of new home developments are typically very dusty with ongoing construction around you. In situations like these you should be checking your filters regularly. It is recommended that you change your filters annually at a minimum.

Is there anything I can do to help protect against the spread of airborne bacteria?

There are multiple options that could be right for your home or business. We recommend that you give us a call so we can come up with a solution tailored to your needs. Some possible options would be; U.V filters, H.E.P.A filters or an air make up unit designed to bring in fresh outside air to your space.
